The stance here taken perceives the feeble foundations of any given relation to existence, but in doing so also leaves us with nothing. Hanging over the abyss, so to speak. But doesn’t the proposition that idealism is always doomed to fail, and yet seems to repeatedly take hold of our lives without us choosing it, open up our self understanding to a bouquet of infinitely particular ways of encountering our historical being through mythology?
